Description
One-way fuel return-line check valve for Detroit Diesel Series 60 (11.1L, 12.7L, 14.0L) engines, replacing Detroit OEM 23516919, 23509140, and 23516916. The valve holds fuel in the cylinder head when the engine is shut off so the next start lights off in two cranks instead of twenty. PAI Industries machines this part to OEM print and backs it with their 2-year unlimited-mileage warranty.
Signs You Need a New Fuel Check Valve
- Hard starting or extended cranking after the truck sits overnight
- Engine misfires or runs rough for the first minute, then smooths out
- Fuel filter bowl drops level when the engine is shut off
- Loss of fuel prime requiring multiple cranking cycles to start
