Description
Predator HD Parts 08-02947-PHD is the aftermarket height control / leveling valve with integral dump for Peterbilt and Kenworth Class 8 air-ride chassis, replacing Peterbilt 08-02947 and Barksdale 52341-POAQ3-Q26 / KD2429. Five 1/4″ NPT ports (supply, two air-spring ports, exhaust, control), shear-seal cartridge, manual dump lever, lever-actuated for cab/chassis ride-height control on the rear suspension.
Signs You Need a New Height Control Valve
- Suspension air bags fail to inflate after driving away — truck rides on the bumpers
- Suspension overinflates and won’t bleed down at rest, lifting the chassis above ride height
- Audible air leak at the valve body or arm linkage; air system cycles repeatedly when parked
- Truck leans to one side when loaded; left and right air bag pressures don’t equalize
- Dump lever no longer dumps the bags or won’t return to ride-height control
