Description
Stemco 400-4743 Zip-Torq is a unitized 6-point trailer axle spindle nut with a 2-5/8″-16 thread, sized for tapered trailer axles in the 17,000-22,500 lb capacity range (Meritor TN, Dana, Eaton trailer axles). The Zip-Torq’s patented self-locking ratchet adjusts and locks the wheel-end bearing in one assembly, holding endplay in the 0.001″-0.005″ target window when installed with Stemco’s 2-1-1 procedure. Pro-Torq 447-4743 is the current 8-point successor to this 6-point Zip-Torq.
