DOHC Valve Lifter Removal Tool
Features and Benefits:
- For Mitsubishi and Chrysler vehicles
- A special tool is needed to depress the valve spring for removal of the hydraulic valve lifters
- The tool slides between the cam tower and the cam lobe over the valve spring retainer
- By pulling up on the tool the valve spring is depressed and the hydraulic valve lifter can be removed
- This tool is also used to replace the hydraulic valve lifter
The tool is used with both turbo and non-turbo in the following engines:1.6 liter and 2.0 liter, 4 cylinder, 1989 and later, 3.0 liter 6cylinder, 1991 and later, 3.5 liter 6 cylinder, 1995 and 1996.
