1970 – 1975 Tilt Steering Column IDIDIT, Floor Shift Collapsible
Add the convenience and reliability of the all new 8-position tilt collapsible column built specific for your 70-75 Camaro.This steering column is not a universal column that requires modification of your vehicle to install.Simply remove your old column, saving your original under dash mount and use the new Floor Mount provided in the kit. Add an aftermarket or original wheel and the gripping surface of the wheel will be in the same location. Standard features of this column are 8-position tilt self-canceling turn signals 4-way flashers ignition knobs & handles 3 7/8″ wire plug (1975 Camaro will use the supplied 4 ¼” wire plug).The lower shaft of this column has a 1″ 48 splined shaft. Please note, this column does not have provisions for the OEM Neutral Safety Switch or Indicator. An alternate method must be used.
