1982 – 1992 Camaro Strut Mount Retainers Detroit Speed, 030335
GM used 2 different mounting bolt patterns on the strut mount retainers. 1982-86 vehicles had a different bolt pattern than the 1987-92 vehicles. All replacement strut mounts are machined to the 1987-92 mounting pattern. You can no longer purchase the 1982-86 strut mount retainers, so if you have a 1982-86 vehicle and purchase new strut mounts (included in the Detroit Speed Caster/Camber Plate Kit, p/n: 030330) your factory strut mount retainers will not work and you will need to purchase the 1987-92 retainers for your vehicle.
NOTE: These strut mount retainers are no longer available from GM.

OEM quality stamped 12 gauge Steel to look like the factory stamped parts as opposed to laser cut flat steel.
Pressed in M8-1.25 x 30 studs instead of welded bolts
