New in dash tachometer for your 1970 – 1978 Camaro. Colors, fonts and spacing on face are factory correct. This new tach does not have a visible needle stop, just like the originals! Updated technology with proprietary tooling. Includes steel face plate support. This all new tachometer is are made for all ignitions: points, HEI or electronic conversion. (MSD REQUIRES A FILTER).

LS swap motor conversion no problem this tach will work for that too just flip the switch under the face plate. Before installation of tachometer.
By far the best tachometer on the market. Replaces original GM Part 5657040.
This tachometer features a 5000 – 7000 redline which was correct for everything except 70-72 Z28 or 396 / 375 high horse cars. But will work great for all 70 – 78 models. This tachometer was available for all Camaro models equipped with the original factory gauge package. Also great for all 70-78 LS engine conversions.

Note: Absolute maximum of 7000 RPM with 5000 RPM redline. A Tach filter ( DAS-1666 )is recommended for vehicles running a points-style ignitions for a crisp and cleaner signal to the tachometer.
